Is Cartoon Network Turning Epic?

Is it just me, or is Cartoon Network starting to roll out shows that actually CATER to actual teenagers?

The Regular Show
(Here's a link to the show's site)
This show started out as an independent short (like Adventure Time). Cartoon Network adopted it recently and it's now on their lineup of "shows". The short it'self is shown here.

As you can tell, this short had relevant references to drugs, peer pressure, and gumballs. This kind of stuff really interests teens 15-19 years old. The show uses the blue jay character and other split second characters to be actors in the show, hence creating a drug wonderland.

MAD
This show needs no explanation. If you've read the magazine or seen the show before, you know how epic it was. It's back and with current new material! Some of the parodied shows and movies include 2012, Global Warming, slasher films, Keeping up with the Kardashians, Grey's Anatomy, Up, and so much more. I find it great to have an epic show back!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Believe me when I say these two are one of many shows that aren't treating teens like they're all emotional train wrecks. Shows like Dude What Would Happen, Destroy Build Destroy, and all the classic shows by Hannah Barbera are constantly streaming on Boomerang. The only thing I wish they would do, however, is to bring back Toonami. For those of you who are unaware, Toonami was a block on the channel where they streamed anime and American animated shows.

If you could bring back ANY show you wanted, what would it be?

He ATE My PENCIL!

I've had people like this in my 7th hour english class! They so crazy XD

Emotional Lollercoaster!

There is as much emotion in this! I feel like I'm watching a girl on her period with mood swings!
I can't embed it because the dude disabled it so here it is.  What this is is a Finnish dub of the first episode of Digimon. I thought of it as lulz material cause of it's complete lack of emotion!

A TROLL!!!

THERES A TROLL AMONG US!!!

You Guys Know Me as the Science Geek

So I figured I'd just post this here :)

I Hate Insomnia

Imagine getting home with tons of work to do. You think you'll be up til midnight doing all of it! Then, you suddenly start to feel VERY tired. You walk to your bed and pass out. When you wake up, it's 7:30 pm! You have just slept a total of 5 hours and it's not even bedtime yet. You do your homework until 3AM! And just then, you pass out yet again.
Insomnia causes this shit to happen to me EVERY DAY! I fucking hate this shit! I have to drink GINGER ALE to stay awake! Will I ever repair my sleeping cycle? What issue do you have that impedes on your work?

I hate Robot Makers

Ever since I got a toy robot when I was a kid, I had a dream. This dream still lives on today in many minds. The immortal dream of a robot that can physically clean your room. I mean COME ON!!! Technology has CERTAINLY gotten better! Why don't hey just MAKE ONE ALREADY??? You know what? When I go to college, I will assist in the, surely, ongoing research team in developing the first robot maid. I know I sound lazy when I say I want a robot to clean my fucking room. But when you sleep half the day, tell me you would want a robot maid to clean up a room. So I propose yet another question to you guys...If a robot could do anything you wanted it to do, what would it be?

Monday Mornings

It may not be monday today, but when it is, you realize that it's hell. Getting up at 6:30AM, forcing yourself out of the sweet comfort of your bed. Trekking to the bathroom like a zombie, stubbing your toe on a kitchen chair. It sucks. On the other hand, if monday was in the weekend, it would be more like a sunday. Those suck too.

Sundays are characterized as that feeling of regret from saturday and the anxiety that tomorrow's monday. This is usually the day LOTS of homework gets done...or not. It's still a weekend day so we can sort of enjoy ourselves. It signifies the end of the fun. The brickwall in the hip-hop road of epic. So I question you viewers...What day do you hate the most?

Rain sucks.

Here in Florida, there is 3 types of weather. Sun, overcast, and RAIN. Rain is by far the worst kind of weather in Florida. It's never a casual shower. It either pours, or it shines. What makes the south eastern region of the US so susceptible to rain? I have no freakin clue. Maybe you guys can answer that for me. Either way, rain creates this atmosphere of tired and depressing. Right now I feel like falling asleep. Rain has it's share of benefits too, of course. One of those being watering plants. Also, it empties the skies making a beautiful blue sky or rainbow effect. So in the words of Yosmite Bear, "Double Rainbow all the way across the sky!"

Why Does She Grade Like This???

In my AP Calculus AB course, my lovable teacher does homework grades in a weird and crazy way. You are given an automatic A+ on Homework and if you don't do an assignment, you lolose 2 points. You only have 20 points a quarter. So if you do the quick math, (go figure) 20/2=10. You get 10 chances to fuck up before it turns into a zero. If you equate this into percents, you get the following
Assignments missed       Homework Grade
               1                                  90%    A-
               2                                  80%    B-
               3                                  70%    C-
               4                                  60%    D-
             5-10                             50-0%    F
Is this a fair system? Yes if you do every homework assignment. But let's factor in that we are all human. You can forget up to 2 homework assignments before you start to lose ground on your grade in the class. This is a BIG GRADE too.  Now I ask you, my humble followers, What system of grading do you think is unfair?
